Bhupusht of India

 Bhupusht of India

The Republic of India is one of the largest democracies in South Asia with many cultural diversity. India is the seventh largest country in the world by area and the second largest by population. More than one billion citizens of India speak about four hundred different languages. India is the world's fourth largest economy in terms of purchasing power, and the world's second fastest growing economy. Due to economic reforms, India's importance as a global destination has increased significantly in the last 20 years.

Geography
India is geographically surrounded by natural boundaries. The inaccessible Himalayan ranges in the north, the Indian Ocean in the south, dense forests in the east, and vast deserts in the west set it apart. This is why it is known as the Indian subcontinent. It is also called Jambudvipa in Sanskrit as it is shaped like a diamond. Modern science also believes that the Indian subcontinent will be protected by water from the east and will slowly move upwards and collide with the Asian continent.

The mountainous region of the north
Himalayan range
Himachal or the Himalayas are located in the north of India. It blocks cold winds from the North Pole. The Himalayan range stretches from Myanmar or Burma in the east to Afghanistan in the west. It serves as a natural political boundary between China and India. Countries like Nepal and Bhutan are located in this mountain range.

The lifeline of India is the rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Indus (now in Pakistan), Brahmaputra etc. which originate from the Himalayas.

Central and southern plains
Rivers from the Himalayas flow through the plains to the south and central India, and eventually into the Indian Ocean bays - the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. These plains are the most densely populated region in the world as they are very fertile and arable. Indian culture thrives in this area. Mythologically this area is of great importance. Great kings of India, individuals are born in this area.

Forests of the east
In the east of India, there are dense forests in the border states like Arunachal Pradesh and the regions connecting Myanmar. The region receives abundant rainfall. Cherrapunji receives the highest rainfall in the world (100 inches). The soil is very fertile due to abundant rainfall.

Deserts of the west
To the west of India are the small, large deserts of Kutch and the deserts of Thar. Historical India extended to the borders of Afghanistan and Iran. Foreign invaders would enter India by crossing the Karakoram Pass instead of this desert. Today the desert of Kutch is in Gujarat and the desert of Thar is in Rajasthan and Pakistan. India has also tested an atomic bomb in this desert pond area.

South Sea
The southern part of India is surrounded on three sides by the sea. South India is bordered by the Bay of Bengal to the east, the Arabian Sea to the west, and the Indian Ocean to the south. The sea includes the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India, the Lakshadweep Islands and countries like Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Bhushir in the Indian Ocean of India is known as Kanyakumari. Rainfall in India depends on the climate of the ocean. India has a coastline of 12 km, which is the longest in the world.
